All of them had been in Thailand since February in connection with the shooting of Mehmet Mirza's upcoming film 'Ishrat Maid in China' and returned to Pakistan on March 23.
But the Coronavirus outbreak has left all those people stranded after flight operations around the world stopped.
Production team member Ahsan Raza Ferdowsi told Urdu News that his team is currently in the Kanchanaburi area near the River Kauai in the western region of Thailand. 'It's about three hours' drive from Bangkok.'
Ahsan Raza said that they had come to Thailand in connection with the film shoot. It was not estimated that the situation would get any worse.
'Our return flight was on March 23 but the operation was suspended from March 21. There is no flight to Pakistan at this time. ”
"All members of our production team are staying in Quarantine for self-defense, we have enough production equipment that will also need transportation."
Ahsan added that in Thailand there is a lockdown, in which even his family are particularly worried about his safety.
Actor Simeon Abbasi said in his video statement that the delay was due to increasing costs and depleting their resources.
He said that the first flight operation was suspended till April 4, but now the closure has been further increased, which has increased his anxiety.
"The government of Pakistan has announced flights to England, Canada, and other countries, but there is no mention of missing people in Thailand."
He added that all members of his team were healthy and ready to meet all quarantine protocols on their return home.
Appealing to the Prime Minister, Foreign Minister and all Pakistanis, Shimon Abbasi said that more than 100 Pakistanis, including him, were detained in Thailand.
Simon Abbasi said that currently, Thailand's airspace is not closed, but no airline is flying to Pakistan. In this situation, the national airline, like other countries, came to the aid of Pakistanis trapped in Thailand.
Ahsan Raza said that he had also contacted the Pakistani Embassy in Thailand but had not received any positive and encouraging response so far.
He said that with each passing day, his team's resources are depleting and the situation will get worse if he is not brought back soon.
