Kamran Akmal scored 1st Century of PSL 2020



Kamran Akmal scored 1st century of PSL 2020 against Quetta Gladiators played in National Stadium on Saturday.


Wicketkeeper plus batsman of Peshawar Zalmi scored 101 from 55 balls in the fourth T20 match of the PSL 2020. According to the PSL record this was the 6th centuries in the PSL history and third hundred of Kamran Akmal’s PSL history. Previously in 2017 kamran scored 104 against Karachi Kings at Dubai and in 2018 against Lahore Qalandars he scored 107 runs and remained not out.
Kamran Akmal also has the record of hitting the most sixes in the five-year history of the PSL. He smashed 73 sixes in 49 PSL matches so far he had played He is also at the top of the list of the batsmen who scored 1000 or more runs. Up till now kamran Akmal participated in all seasons of the PSL and played 49 matches in which he scored 1,430 runs at the average of 31.08 in 48 innings including three centuries and nine fifties.
The 38-year batsman played 53 Tests, 58 T20s and 157 ODIs Internationals. Akmal is the most appeared player in the history of PSL played 49 matches, followed by his two team-mates Darren Sammy and Wahab Riaz , both played 47 matches each.
