Pakistan become champion of Kabaddi World Cup 2020



Kabaddi World Cup 2020 was held at Punjab Stadium in Lahore yesterday.

Pakistan beat defending champion India by 43 to 41 points after a heartwarming match. For the first time in the history Pakistan became Kabaddi World Cup champion. World class kabaddi has been exhibited from players of both teams. Both teams strongly compete with each other.
In the first half of the match the defending champion India maintain their dominance over host team Pakistan by 24-18. A turning moment came in the second half when a point was given to team Pakistan in fifth minute of the half. After that Pakistan strives hard, first they leveled the match at 32 points each and then started to build lead. At the end Pakistan win by 43 points.
Chaudhary Muhammad Sarwar Governor of Punjab, the chief guest of the Kabaddi World Cup final, distributed prizes among the players. The winner team Pakistan was presented with cash prize of ten million rupees along with the winning trophy. The runner up team was awarded with cash prize of seven point five million rupees.
Team Pakistan makes the nation proud by winning the championship. Every single individual is full of excitement and happiness on this victory. No doubt it was sensational match. Both teams give their 100 percent in their struggle for victory.  Different higher authorities, singers and cricketers express their excitement and happiness on this victory.
President of Pakistan Arif Ali present his congratulation to team Pakistan on winning the final of World Cup by saying “We should dedicate this win to peace in the region and the world”
Chief Minister Usman Buzdar appreciated Pakistan’s victory by writing “Wonderful game of Kabaddi and well deserved victory by Team Pakistan Congratulations to every Pakistani celebrating this win today”
Imad Wasim congratulated Pakistan team on his comeback “43-41 is the final score. And that’s after being down after the first half. Fantastic effort from the boys to crown Pakistan Kabaddi champions”
