Barcelona skipper Lionel Messi comes forward to help his country Spain by donating one million euros.

Guardiola Manchester City coach donated 1 million euros to buy medical supplies
used in fight against COVID-19.
Barcelona’s Hospital
Clinic confirmed that they received a donation from Messi to help against COVID-19.
They also thank Lionel Messi by tweeting,” Thank you Leo, for your support and
commitment.”
Medical College of
Barcelona received money from former FC Barcelona boss to buy medical
equipments for Catalonia health centers. Donation will also used to install ventilators
for COVID-19 positive patients and to provide protective suits for health care
workers in Guardiola’s northeastern region of Spain.
The Corona pandemic
spread across the world by hitting 199 countries. Spain is among those
countries where conditions are at worst position. According to current figures
Spain has third highest number of deaths due to corona virus. 2,696 people died
and almost 40,000 are infected.
