Iran, Afghan borders closed to Pakistan.
The Pak-Iran and Pak-Afghan borders adjoining Balochistan are still closed to deal with the Corona virus, while partial lockdowns remain in place throughout the province.
The Pak-Iran border, which is adjacent to Balochistan, is also closed on the 30th day in view of the virus, while all sorts of goods from the Pak-Afghan border Chaman are also suspended.
According to the PDMA, more than 400 visitors from different Quarantine centers are undergoing care. The Mian Ghandi Quarantine Center in Quetta was evacuated yesterday where more visitors will be kept after a thorough cleaning.
On the other hand, public transport, markets, shopping malls and restaurants are closed all over the province, including Quetta. The Inter-Provincial and Inter-city Transport Service is also suspended. Due to the corona virus, the celebrations of Pakistan were also canceled.
According to the Health Department of Balochistan, one person has died so far from the Karuna virus in Quetta. Of the screening of 1950 people, 1405 suspects were tested, out of which 1043 tests came out negative and in 108 people the corona virus was confirmed while 337 people have yet to be reported.
