Pandemics are not just
a medical phenomenon; they have drastic effects on societies. Any pandemic that
spread effect societies in many ways like causing disruptions, economical down
fall, Xenophobia, Panic and stress are also associated with pandemic
situations.
Currently COVID-19
infection caused by novel corona virus spread throughout the world and it
affected almost 199 countries. Its wide spread create a panic situation
worldwide and increases the anxiety level in individuals subjected to the
threat of the virus.

associations, doctors, paramedical staff etc recommended maintaining social
distance from each other. Everyone should stay at home and only go outside in
highly necessary situation. Almost all countries are in the situation of lock
down which restricted public to their homes and limited their social
activities.
Situation like this is
scary and it can affect public mental health. Public should engaged themselves
in activities which help them to maintain their mental health during this
lockdown time. People should create a new routine for themselves it may include
reading, praying, exercise, watching movies, spending time with family and
children, playing with kids etc.
People can also join
any online course to enhance their knowledge. They can focus on polishing their
skills which they left due to their busy life routine. Stay connected with your
friends using social media but do not spread sensational news play a role of
responsible citizen.
Rumour can fuel
anxiety. Do not trust every news; keep yourself updated with authentic sources.
Make your time productive to avoid anxiety. Stay home stay safe and take care
of your mental health by engaging yourself in different activities. Try different
relaxation techniques to keep you relax like yoga, breathing exercise and
different meditation techniques. Explore different ways to add physical
movement in your routine. Being active will reduce your stress level and will
increase your energy.
Try to stay healthy by
planning your day and taking care of your mental health also keep all
precautions and advices given by governments to win this fight against corona
virus.
