This drama also faces criticism. A woman has moved Lahore's civil court and filed a petition against the release of the last episode of popular drama serial ‘Mere Pass Tum Ho'. Petitioner has claimed that the drama has negatively portrayed women in society.

According to the petition, the show has passed derogatory comments about women and has disrespected their status.
