It is mandatory to show COVID-19 Negative Report on the arrival of Pakistan.
The Government of Pakistan has declared coronavirus test 24 hours before departure for all passengers coming from abroad.
Rashid Zuberi, Additional Director of Civil Aviation, National Regulations, told SAMAA Digital that the decision will take effect March 21 at 5 pm and will likely apply for the next 15 days.
He said that many citizens are calling by phone to inquire what action they should take if test kits are successful in the country from which they are coming to Pakistan. Rashid Zubairi said that it was, of course, the government's decision and its implementation was imperative.
Rabia Qureshi, Assistant Director of FIA Immigration, told SAMAA Digital that a joint meeting of the FIA and other relevant departments, including Civil Aviation, would be convened soon to implement the decision.
Subordinate officers are currently unable to understand how to comply with the said order.

According to the notice given to the concerned authorities, every passenger coming from abroad must provide a copy of the result of the test on arrival and the test should have been done 24 hours before their boarding.
The decision comes at a time when the world is in serious concern due to the global outbreak of the Coronavirus that has infected people in more than 150 countries so far. In view of the current situation, Dana's leaders and experts are advising people not to have the virus tested without needing it.
Prime Minister Imran Khan also suggested the same in his address on Tuesday, taking precautions for the people.
