Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi announces lockdown for 21 days nationwide to prevent Corona virus
Addressing the nation, the Prime Minister of India said that there is no option other than lockdown to protect against corona virus and lockdown will start from 12 pm.
He said the lockdown would continue for 21 days and this is one step ahead of the Janata Curfew, which aims to save everyone.
Modi said that if we do not handle 21 days, the country will go back 21 years, refrain from leaving the exit and forget to leave home for 21 days.
The Indian Prime Minister warned the nation that Corona means no one can come out on the Indian Road; even a step outside the house can bring Corona home.
He added that supply of essential commodities will continue, for which important steps have been taken.
During the address, the Prime Minister of India also announced a package of Rs 15,000 crore to deal with the Corona virus.
It is to be noted that two days ago, a 14-hour Janata curfew was imposed in India under which germicidal spray was spread across the country.
So far 9 people have been killed by Corona virus in India while 519 people have been infected with the deadly virus and 40 have recovered.
