Lahore Qalandars recorded their 1st victory in PSL 2020 against Quetta Gladiators.
On 3rd March 2020, 16th match of PSL-5 has been played between Lahore Qalandars and defending champions Quetta Gladiators at Gaddafi Stadium.
Lahore Qalandars defeated
Gladiators by 37 runs and achieved their 1st victory in PSL 2020.
Lahore Qalandars gave a huge target of 210 runs to chase by Gladiators.
Dunk played a
sensational innings, by smashing 10 sixes and 3 fours he scored 93 runs in 43
balls. Smith Patel scored 71 runs in 40 balls with the help of 2 sixes and 9
fours. Both these batsmen enabled Qalandars to set such huge target for
Gladiators.
In chase of 210 runs
all team of Gladiators were bowled out at 172 in 20 overs. From Gladiators Ben
Cutting gave impressive performance by scoring half-century, his innings
included 5 sixes and 3 fours. He scored 53 runs in 27 balls.
Shane Watson scored 23
runs in 17 balls and caught by Dunk at Dilbar Hussain delivery. Nawaz scored 24
runs in 17 balls dismissed by Faizan.
Lahore Qalandars did
impressive bowling. Salman Arshad picked 4 wickets while Patel, Faizan and
Dilbar Hussain picked 3 wickets each.
