Europe's nomads face serious dangers due to the Cody Anis epidemic. They are called Roma and are camping in different European countries.
The Roma Gypsy is an ethnic group of backward and poor people, who have been traveling for centuries in Central and Southeast European countries and camping. Due to the lack of proper medical facilities and tents, sewerage facilities are not available properly.
In this case, Cody Anis's illness can be extremely fatal for him and is a cause of concern in many European social circles. It is also a fact that Roma people are facing racism and prejudice at the European level. However, now after the outbreak, the governments of Slovakia, Romania, and Bulgaria have imposed more severe restrictions on their movements. These governments have also threatened to use the army and police to restrict these nomads.
Roma activist groups have called the actions of Romania, Bulgaria, and Slovakia serious. According to them, instead of providing more protection to the poor, it is not appropriate and permissible to impose sanctions on them.
Estimates indicate that there are between one and two million Roma living in different European countries. They are also called Europe's largest minority.
European human rights activists say these sanctions will easily make older Roma nomads a new type of Coronavirus. According to him, the new move has potentially removed such ill-treatment facilities. These workers also say that it may be possible for patients with Roma to die before treatment.
The Roma gypsies live on very low incomes. Often they sell the collected household goods or vases or plastic items from trash and this is their main source of income. They are also charged with theft and other minor offenses. These nomads live in tents or very small apartments in Kampersee.
